If you do not attend for a course and do not inform us, the full fee remains payable.
Late arrivals/missed sessions
Course timings are clearly displayed on the course information. Learners who arrive late, are absent for any session, or who wish to leave the course earlier than the stated time should appreciate that this will be recorded and that DLF cannot be responsible for any knowledge and/or skill insufficiency that may arise as a result. In the case of an accredited course, DLF reserves the right to refuse entry if the leaner is more than 30 mins late for a course if the trainer feels this would cause disruption for other delegates on the course. The DLF also reserves the right to defer delegates for accreditation if their attendance has not fulfilled the required criteria.
For some of our accredited courses, learner will be required to meet certain assessment criteria; this may be in the form of classroom work, pre-course reading or post course assignments. If the learner does not complete this work to a satisfactory level or submit work required in a timely manner the learner will not receive accreditation and therefore a certificate.
Learners who require assistance
The DLF is an inclusive charity and will endeavour to meet all additional requirements for learners with disabilities or difficulties. Learners must make the DLF aware within a week of the course so that reasonable adjustments can be made.
At times the course requirements are such that certain participation must be completed. Although reasonable adjustments can be made in most cases there will be times where a participant may not have the aptitude or capability to undertake their chosen course. It is the purchasers responsibility to ensure that the learners disability or difficulty has been disclosed and if required discussed with the Training department to ensure participation is appropriate.
If a learner attends a course without prior disclosure of difficulties and is unable to complete the tasks required of the course, the DLF reserves the right to refuse certification and the above cancellation charges will apply.

DLF Training abides by the applicable elements of DSR2000
DLF Training reserves the right to substitute trainers to deliver courses where necessary. In these circumstances delegates should be assured that the learning outcomes, CPD application, accreditation (where applicable), structure and content of the courses will remain unchanged as a result. DLF
